In view of Grindiin Record’s determination to further project African music to the world, we are proud to unveil our frontline artiste Tito Da.Fire and premier visuals to his latest musical work “One Kiss”, directed by award winning director AJE Filmworks.
Grindiin Records was founded in 2015 with a vision to create footprints for talented African artistes on the global music scene especially at a time when the entire world is focused on African and Nigerian Music. Grindiin Record’s choice of Tito Da.Fire as its second artiste was propelled by its connection to his body of work which the label feels can compete favourably on a global stage coupled with Tito’s versatility and understanding of the Nigerian Music terrain. To achieve this feat, it has teamed up with Dicotyledon Entertainment Limited owned by (one of the music industry respectable and experienced brains) Tony Anifite aka “Don T” founding partner NOW MUZIK and executive director, Hypertek Digital.
“One Kiss” Video was directed by AJE Filmworks and shot on various locations in Lekki, Lagos Nigeria. The visuals aptly capture the blend of sounds and imagery that present a cross cultural appeal.
“One Kiss” was produced by US- based Mantra whose credits include Future- Selfish ft. Rihanna in collaboration with MDL- producer of Justin Bieber- What do you mean. Tito Da.Fire addition of typical afrobeat lyricism and rhythm along with the talking drum gave the song that Afro-pop appeal.
“One Kiss” is currently receiving heavy rotation on Nigerian Radio Stations and feedback thus far from “One Kiss” audio in African countries such as Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana and South Africa indicates that “One Kiss” is a lover’s delight.
